The Ministry of Agriculture and partners carried out a project, assisting farmers and various people whose fields were affected by the floods of December 2013. 

In this project, the St. Vincent Ministry of Agriculture collaborated with the Mustique Charitable Trust and the Richmond Vale Academy as implementing partners.

A project which is intended to assist Farmers whose fields were affected by the floods of December 2013 was officially launched August the 5th of 2014 by the Ministry of Agriculture.

The proposal for the project had been made by the Mustique Charitable Trust, through a donor and Richmond Vale Academy implemented the planting of 10,000 trees in the most affected areas. 

Administrator of the Mustique Charitable Trust Lavinia Gunn has expressed that the Trust was very pleased to assist with the project, as part of its ongoing response after the floods of December 2013.

The St. Vincent Minister of Agriculture, Saboto Caesar, commended the Mustique Charitable Trust for its continued support to the government and people of St. Vincent and the Grenadines.
